Introduction
Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a delectable and easy-to-make dish, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an impressive appetizer. These tender, juicy bites are seared to perfection and then tossed in a savory garlic butter sauce. They are sure to be a hit with anyone who loves steak.
Ingredients
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves (optional)
- 1 teaspoon rosemary leaves (optional)
Directions
Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and pepper.
Heat the Oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add the steak pieces in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the steak bites are browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside.
Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute, or until the garlic is fragrant and slightly golden.
Combine and Serve: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce until they are well-coated. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and, if using, add the thyme and rosemary. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through and combine the flavors.
Serve: Transfer the steak bites to a serving dish and garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
